It’s just the four of us for Easter, so I’m keeping things pretty simple for our meal this year. We love alfresco dining on our porch, so I’m hoping the weather will cooperate so we can eat outside on Sunday. We aren’t going for a formal look this year, so this Easter table is super simple. Here’s what I’ve pulled together:

Easter Table Supplies

I really wanted this Easter table to come together easily, but still be pretty. To help set the table quickly, I’ve corralled all my dishes and linens in a woven tray- ready to go outside without any fuss. This will help the ‘church rush’ Sunday morning tremendously!

Since we’re eating at a smaller table, the centerpiece is a simple bowl filled with a boxwood wreath and moss balls. Simple and pretty.

Table For Four
I’m using discontinued Dansk Cafe Floral salad plates and cups for a pretty pattern with green stoneware plates from the grocery store(!). It’s all about high-low around here!

The cups have forget-me-nots on one side and pretty pink flowers on the other.

The bamboo bronzeware is vintage.

The ruffled fruit bowls are vintage Italian waffle glass – too cute!

Easter Buffet
My dad’s childhood dresser lives on our porch and works perfectly as a buffet. Don’t be afraid to use furniture in unusual places! This dresser holds all sorts of outdoor necessities like gardening supplies and dog grooming items.
Continuing with my pink and green color scheme, I simply added moss wreaths and a sweet bunny hanger as the backdrop. Simple and easy.

A Reason For The Season
Easter is about so much more than bunnies and eggs! Jesus willingly died so each and every one of us could spend eternity with Him. We can’t earn this gift – it was willingly given almost 2000 years ago. And that, my friends, gives me so much hope. Blessings to you and your families this Easter. Happy Nesting!
